Conference Times
The conference commences at Tuesday 4th September 2007, and ends on Thursday 6th September 2007. The exact start and finish times are yet to be confirmed.
Conference Registration
You can register into the conference from 12pm on Tuesday 4th September 2007. The conference registration desk will be open each day from 8am for day delegate registration.
Hotel Check in and Luggage
In order to prevent the rush of registration at the end of the day which you get at other conferences, you will be able to check into the hotel from 12 midday. Once checked in, and in line with most hotels, your hotel bedroom will be available to you after 1700 hours on Tuesday 4th September.
Secure luggage storage facilities have been arranged for your use, and you can hand in your bags upon arrival and enjoy the day without hinderance! During the course of the afternoon, your bags will then be taken to your room. All you have to do is collect your bedroom key at the end of the presentations.
If you need to freshen up after your journey, we have arranged for changing and shower facilities for your use within the the hotel leisure club.
Room Checkout
You must check out of your room by 1100 am on Thursday 6th September. A secure baggage storage facility has been arranged for your use during the last morning of the conference.
Meals and Refreshments
As a full delegate all your meals are provided following the conference start. Coffee and tea is provided for you upon arrival Please note that lunch on Tuesday 4th September is not included. On this occasion a lounge bar menu is available (for example, a sandwich for approx £8.00) for those who wish to eat at the hotel.
Lunch is provided for day delegates (except for Tuesday).
Dress Code
One of the conference aims is to allow delegates to network and learn in a relaxed atmosphere, and therefore the dress code is smart casual. There is no formal dress requirement for either Gala dinner.
Transport
A courtesy bus runs to and from the Airport & International Rail Station every 30 minutes. There are drop off points at both locations which are clearly marked.
Car Parking
Parking at the hotel is strictly on a first come first served basis. There is a standard £5 charge for all guests to park on the hotel's car park, which we have included in the full delegate rate. If you cannot find space on site, you can use the adjacent NCP car parks. These are also charged on a daily rate, and will be your responsibility. Day delegates parking fees are not included in the day delegate rates.
NB:During the conference we will be taking general photographs, which may be used in future publicity materials.
